Who should take this course?
Appropriate for employees in any workplace, Paragon’s First Aid course is designed specifically for non-medical professionals who want to learn how to respond appropriately to a medical emergency and give care until help arrives. Each participant who successfully completes the course will receive a First Aid/CPR/AED certification that is valid for two years.
Specific topics covered in this course include:
- Basic first aid
- Chest compressions and breaths to perform Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
- Proper use and application of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
- Optional module: knowledge of bloodborne pathogens (BBP)
