Paragon Safety offers OSHA 10-Hour Safety Training courses to familiarize employers and employees with common workplace safety hazards and to provide an overview of OSHA and its required regulations. Our OSHA 10-Hour Classes include the OSHA 10-Hour Construction Class and the OSHA 10-Hour General Industry Class.

Paragon’s OSHA-authorized outreach trainers teach this 10-hour course to groups of workers in a classroom setting at either our location or yours. Each participant who successfully completes the course will receive an OSHA 10-Hour U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) course completion card.

*Note: This class will be followed by Adult First Aid/CPR/AED training in the afternoon, which you can sign up for separately on our website here.

Who should take this course?

The course is designed to provide entry-level workers with a better understanding of construction or general industry safety, covering the recognition, avoidance, abatement, and prevention of safety and health hazards in the workplace. This course also provides information regarding workers’ rights, employer responsibilities, and how to file a complaint.

What topics are covered in a 10-Hour OSHA safety training course?

These courses are designed to make the employer and employee aware of common workplace safety hazards and prepare them with a safety-conscious response to any emergency situation.

  • Introduction to OSHA
  • Focus Four hazards and prevention:
    • Fall hazards
    • Electrocution hazards
    • Caught-in or Caught-between
