OSHA Fall Protection Training

Falls are among the most common causes of work-related injuries and are the leading cause of death in construction work. In previous years, up to 36% of all fatalities in construction work were from falls. So, it’s not surprising that fall protection in construction is one of the most frequently cited standards by Federal OSHA.

Paragon Safety offers fall protection training courses to provide construction workers with the information needed to identify and prevent fall hazards, and to comply with OSHA standards. This course is available in both English and Spanish. Each participant who successfully completes the fall protection training course will receive a certificate of completion.

Confined Space Safety Training

Entering and working in confined spaces is a high-risk situation. Injuries or sudden illness in a confined space without a monitor and rescue plan in place can quickly become fatal. Paragon Safety offers Confined Space Safety training to teach workers involved in confined space entry to understand the potential hazards and how to strictly adhere to safe work practices and entry procedures. Confined spaces include underground vaults and tunnels, tanks, storage bins, manholes, pits, silos, process vessels, pipelines, and others.

Available in both English and Spanish, Paragon Safety Group’s Confined Space Safety course teaches workers the precautions to take, steps to take in the event of an accident, and the procedures required for your company to be OSHA compliant. Each participant who successfully completes the course will receive a certificate of completion.

Forklift Safety Training

Every person using a forklift, lull, or other powered industrial truck must be certified at least every three years—or risk serious OSHA fines. Paragon Safety offers Forklift Safety Training and Certification, in English or Spanish, to teach workers how to use these powered industrial trucks. We teach about what hazards are associated with them, how to inspect and maintain the equipment for safe use, best practices for operators, and the specific standards your company must know and follow to achieve and maintain OSHA compliance. These vehicles are powerful pieces of machinery, and OSHA requires each operator to be properly trained when using a new type of equipment, after any incident, or at least every three years.

Each participant who successfully completes the forklift safety training course will receive a certificate of completion. This certificate is sent to the employer and is kept on file at the Paragon Safety office for at least 5 years for easy access. Note: OSHA requires that training must be done at the employer’s site, using the employer’s equipment.
